Edges is a song-cycle exploring four young adults navigating pivotal life moments and asking timeless coming-of-age questions. Composed by Tony-nominated writers Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Dogfight, James and the Giant Peach) during their sophomore year at the University of Michigan, this engaging and sincere work examines the threshold between youth and adulthood.

The songs address enduring themes including love, commitment, identity and purpose. The characters grapple with managing emotions, breaking free from societal pressures and untangling complex interpersonal dynamics.

Originally designed for four performers, Edges offers flexibility to accommodate larger casts with diverse, age-appropriate characters. Edges serves as an ideal foundation for experimental theatre productions, particularly appealing to college and university programs seeking substantive material to develop their artists.
