The 1950s are no more, and a new era of change has arrived. Hairspray, recipient of eight Tony Awards, including Best Musical, is a wholesome performance filled with humor, love, and delightfully catchy tunes.

Travel back to Baltimore in 1962 and meet Tracy Turnblad, a charming plus-sized teenager with a single dream: to dance on the beloved "Corny Collins Show." As her dream becomes reality, Tracy's newfound fame changes her from an outsider to a star. Now she must use her influence to overthrow the current Teen Queen, win the heart of heartthrob Link Larkin, and integrate a television network, all without ruining her perfect hair.
