Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is a captivating family musical that portrays the challenges and victories of Joseph, the favored son of Israel. This timeless production offers a fresh take on the Biblical story of Joseph, his father Jacob, his eleven brothers, and the famous coat of many colors. Entirely sung and guided by a Narrator, the musical follows Joseph’s journey from being sold into slavery by his brothers to gaining favor with the Egyptian noble Potiphar. After rejecting Potiphar’s wife, Joseph is imprisoned, where he discovers his gift for interpreting dreams. This talent brings him before the Elvis-inspired Pharaoh, whose famine crisis Joseph resolves, earning him a position as the Pharaoh’s trusted advisor and reuniting him with his family.
