Andrew Lloyd Webber’s School of Rock – The Musical is a two-hour show comprised of two acts and an intermission, inspired by the popular film. It narrates the story of Dewey Finn, a failed rock musician who takes on the role of a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. He transforms a class of high-achieving students into a skilled rock band while navigating the challenges of keeping this secret from their parents and the headmistress.

Lloyd Webber developed the stage musical for Broadway and the West End, creating 14 original compositions for the production, in addition to the film's existing songs. The composer's pieces “You’re in the Band” and “Stick it to the Man” are increasingly recognized as enduring classics, while the concluding number “Teacher’s Pet” consistently elicits strong audience responses during the eight weekly performances.
