Water for Elephants, adapted from Sara Gruen's bestselling novel, is a captivating and informative musical that follows Jacob, a young man seeking to escape his past. Boarding a moving train, Jacob finds himself on a life-changing journey as he becomes part of a vibrant traveling circus, hired to care for the animals by the stern ringmaster, August. Along the way, Jacob develops an unspoken bond with Marlena, the star performer and August's wife. When an elephant joins the troupe in a desperate attempt to save the show, it brings Marlena and Jacob closer together and alters the fate of the circus forever.
