SET LISTS for “TEMPO by” (iOS app)
This is arguably one of the simplest solutions for implementing a click for your shows, and only requires a single iOS device (iPhone or iPad). I’ve used these for my own productions and it’s so easy to work with — I especially love how easy it is to adjust/customize on the fly while you’re in rehearsal. This has been a game changer for my workflow.
Stage Sounds has prepared all the tempo/meter changes and arranged them in order using the “setlist” feature. Just like with MainStage, it’s as easy as downloading a file; quite literally “plug and play”! And you can of course edit and customize each cue however you see fit.

QLAB SESSIONS
We also offer more substantial “sweetener” packages which, in addition to clicks, also include additional instrumental/vocal parts to help fill out the sound of your production. These are designed for QLab, which requires a MacOS device (iMac, MacBook, or Mac Mini) and ideally an audio interface that allows you to send multiple outputs for the different channels (ideally at least four: click, guide, vocal, instrumental).
Addams Family: OUR MOST COMPLETE PACKAGE! Includes click and piano for the majority of the score (the only spots without are a couple of Fester ukulele moments (“Fester’s Manifesto” and “But Love Reprise”) as well as some of the more rubato sections. Sweeteners include 8 of the 12 instruments (reeds 1/2, trumpet, trombone, violin, cello, guitar, percussion) as well as ALL of the ensemble/ancestor vocals and many the sound effects (the ones that take place during music). Can be performed with a band of 4 (keyboards 1/2, bass, drums) when combined with our keyboard programming!
Billy Elliot (9-piece): Includes 3 of the 9 instruments (reed 2, horn, trumpet) for the majority of the score (the only spots without click or sweetener are the very rubato tunes such as Grandma’s Song and The Letter as well as some of the underscoring). Also includes the “official” sweeteners — extra strings, brass, percussion, etc — for several songs (mostly the larger dance numbers). Can be performed with a band of 6 (keyboards 1/2, bass, guitar, drums, reed 1) when combined with our keyboard programming!
Evita (18-piece): Includes click and rehearsal piano for the majority of the score (the only spots without are the more rubato sections). Sweeteners include 4 of the strings (violins 2/3, viola, cello) as well as all the "Peron!" chants from the chorus throughout the show (including the entire iconic "Balcony Scene"). Can be performed with a band of 14 (reeds 1/2, horn, trumpets 1/2, trombone, keyboards 1/2/3, guitar, bass, drums, percussion, and violin 1) when combined with our keyboard programming!
Mamma Mia: OUR MOST POPULAR PACKAGE! Includes click and rehearsal piano for the majority of the score (the only spots without are the more rubato sections). Sweeteners include:
- Instrumental “sweeteners” for both the Overture and Entr’acte (adding several extra layers of synths, strings, percussion, etc that can be heard on the original albums but are not written anywhere in the music).
- All the triggered “pre-recorded vocals” indicated in the score. These are also of course included with the keyboard programming as written, but they are also loaded into the tracks if you’d prefer to have them in that format. These appear in “Gimme Gimme Gimme”, “Voulez Vous”, “Take a Chance On Me” and the bows
- NIGHTMARE VOCALS: While these are not available for purchase/rent, we are more than happy to guide you through how to achieve them with your cast. Inquire with us directly for more information!
